12" Mackerel flies.
The first week in June the bass came tearing through the canal. It is a spectacle. These huge bass are chasing mackerel and they have to run a gauntlet of fishermen standing elbow to elbow on both side of the canal throwing plugs. The night before the word got out we caught many fish and had to leave with breaking fish everywhere.

I was there for that, it was insane, 20+ pound fish breaking as far as you could see down the canal
